NOVEMBER 2025
Gita Jayanti is the sacred day that marks the birth of the Bhagavad Gita, one of the most revered scriptures of Hinduism. It is celebrated on the Ekadashi (11th day) of the Shukla Paksha in the month of Margashirsha (November–December) On Gita Jayanti, devotees across India and around the world read and recite verses from the Gita, participate in discourses, bhajans, and group readings (Gita parayana), and reflect upon its message. The day serves as a reminder that the Gita’s message transcends time and religion, guiding humanity toward peace, righteousness, and spiritual enlightenment. It inspires people to perform their duties with dedication, remain detached from the results, and uphold truth and virtue in all circumstances
As part of Gita Jayanti celebrations this year, we at Vidyasetu are organizing recitation and speech competition for our gurukula students. Details in the brochure.
We welcome you to join us, not only as a celebration of the scripture, but as a tribute to the eternal wisdom that continues to illuminate countless lives.
